About
Inspiration Computers is family run (established 2003) by Lee & Alison Grant - both are experienced PC technicians and will give you excellent advice and support.
We offer data recovery, virus removal, RAM upgrades, computer MOTs and a whole host of other computer related services including remote support. We also stock a wide range of laptops and our PCs are built by us, in our Kirkheaton, Huddersfield shop.
We also repair broken laptop screens and broken laptop DC power sockets in our shop - the repair is performed in house and not by an external company.
Our list of website clients is growing larger as we can help you or your business build a great online presence or help you communicate more efficiently with email and social media such as Twitter, Facebook and Google+

I needed an upgrade on my laptop from Windows 7 to 10. Service was friendly, very prompt and and time was taken to explain the aspects that I did not understand. A real effort was taken to charge me only what needed to be done, instead of following Microsoft's advice to replace my laptop. I came on a recommendation from a friend, and I've already recommended Inspiration to another friend. It is reassuring to know that there is a helpful small business nearby that can sort out your tech problems.

We left our laptop for a repair as the screen was starting to flicker. The service we received was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful from the first call to the collection. The problem was diagnosed free of charge. A new screen was likely needed and, due to the nature of this particular screen, we would need to go to the manufacturers. We were not charged for this service and, in addition, everything was tightened up (also free of charge). This has resolved the issue for the time being in any case. We are grateful for this helpful service. Everything was explained clearly and understandably.

Inspiration advised on a new system which was about half the cost of that which I selected form available products. I am delighted with the new system having scant knowledge of computers and their operation. I was a little concerned that on account of Covid, Inspiration were not able to provide on site installation at my home. (I consider that Inspiration's arrangements to cope with virus have been totally satisfactory throughout) The work was done on time and to budget and required only three short telephone calls one to assist me to assemble the system and two to operate it. The company has infinite patience and appreciates a customer's lack of knowledge in my case.
