About
Inspiration Computers is family run (established 2003) by Lee & Alison Grant - both are experienced PC technicians and will give you excellent advice and support.
We offer data recovery, virus removal, RAM upgrades, computer MOTs and a whole host of other computer related services including remote support. We also stock a wide range of laptops and our PCs are built by us, in our Kirkheaton, Huddersfield shop.
We also repair broken laptop screens and broken laptop DC power sockets in our shop - the repair is performed in house and not by an external company.
Our list of website clients is growing larger as we can help you or your business build a great online presence or help you communicate more efficiently with email and social media such as Twitter, Facebook and Google+

I first met Alison when someone had bought me a computer from Currys which was unsuitable. I had tried to return it but had been refused. I phoned Inspiration Computers to asked what they would suggest I buy and after finding out what model I had, Alison came to see me at home with a computer that was very similar to my old one so it would be easy for me to make the change. She also encouraged me to continue to ask for a refund and I succeeded. She spent time finding out what I use it for and transferred relevant data across and set it up. Then came to my house to link it to the internet and to my printer. She made the process very easy which was great as I have cancer. I found their service to be professional, knowledgeable and straightforward. Am very lucky that they are in my village.

I received fantastic support, advice and support from Lee. He was friendly, helpful, thorough, knowledgeable, efficient and thoroughly trustworthy. He tried to fix my broken laptop, but when it could not be saved, he was able to source me a new laptop and then set it up as my previous laptop. I will now be a life-long customer!

I was put in touch with Lee from Inspiration Computers by PCPro magazine when trying to help a friend who was locked out of her One Drive having moved house. The old landline number was changed by new residents and 2FA resulted in a determined 'Microsoft says no!'. Lee talked through the issues and Mary's questions and let us to a workaround we had not thought of, and suggested some cost saving alternatives. Really helpful and very positive, Lee demonstrated really good professional knowledge. Excellent remote support. Highly recommended.

Contacted Inspiration computers during lockdown and unfortunately the part could not be sourced. Realising the laptop still needed to be repaired as University was approaching Lee at Inspiration Computers found the part and ordered this. Within a week from my initial enquiry the laptop was fixed and is as good as new. Very good communication throughout and reasonable pricing .. saved me from having to buy a new one!!

My attempts to download windows 10 onto my laptop has resulted in an almost useless piece of equipment. I checked for local computer repair businesses and decided on Inspiration Computers - as the company was a Which Trusted Trader. The service was efficient, speedy and effective.
