About

Blue Flame Service Ltd is a local firm based in Maryport, Cumbria, originally set up by Tim Kemp in 2001 and then in partnership with David Harrison in 2003. Over the past 15 years we have developed and grown into one of Cumbria ’s leading utility contractors providing first class plumbing, heating, electrical and renewable services.

Our fleet of 10 fully fitted vehicles support all the services we provide covering the whole of Cumbria, Millom to Carlisle, Whitehaven to Penrith.

We cover all aspects of Plumbing, Heating and Electrical. Blue Flame Services are now able to offer boiler finance and Bathroom finance options throughout Cumbria.

Blue Flame can now offer easy payment solutions with 0% APR on all boiler, bathroom and electrical installations.

We can now protect your Home with a range of Boiler Care packages starting from £0.37 a day, all packages include an annual boiler service, unlimited call outs and up to £1,000 inc vat for repair works.

Having several properties in the local area, Blue Flame have provided efficient, effective and timely service both on renovation and maintenance issues. Friendly, helpful administration staff and operatives, who deal with emergencies and the day-to-day in a timely and courteous way. Their pricing is very reasonable and their invoicing prompt and accurate using technology sensibly. They are always tidy workers, and thoughtful about how they work around someone's home.

Service was absolutely A1. Everything went fine. They were here for Tuesday and half of Wednesday and I could not fault them, they got straight on with it. They were so polite. The supervisor came and checked and confirmed the yearly service so no worries there. I would recommend them to anyone. The service was perfect.

I am really pleased with the 2 boys who fitted my boiler, they were very polite. The job was completed to our satisfaction. Jon who gave us our quote was brilliant, it was more or less spot on with what we expected and I have to say not many companies would come and do the job the day after. Having been let down by various local tradesmen we gave Blue Flame a ring. The engineer arrived at exactly the time quoted and carried out the work with efficiency and with extreme care. I have used Blue Flame to service my gas appliances for several years. This review relates to a plumbing job carried out by Blue Flame at my home. I needed a replacement bath mixer tap - Blue Flame carried out this work on time, taking great care to remove and replace the side panel on my bath with the minimum of damage. The plumbers were polite and courteous throughout, and left the bathroom clean and tidy when they finished. I am happy to recommend Blue Flame for both gas and plumbing work.

We received quotes from 5 reputable firms but opted for Blue flame because of the detailed survey and the consultation about the options that would suit us best. They weren't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. The fitting was done quickly and the workmanship was very good. I appreciated the way they looked after our home and were careful to clean up at the end of each day. All in all I was very happy with the service.
